Catalina was born and raised in Iowa City. She is a third year student at the University of Iowa pursuing a degree in neuroscience. She loves all things neuroscience and has an interest in the effects of behavior and physical exercise on cognitive functioning in daily life. She hopes to pursue a future in neuroscience research. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing tennis and anything outdoors.
